Frequently Asked Questions
Is VBS free?
Yes! Kingdom Adventure VBS is free for children to attend.
What ages can attend?
VBS is for children ages 4 to entering 6th grade (in the 26/27 school year). Children should be four at the time of VBS or turing 4 that week.
What does drop-off and pick-up look like?
All children must be checked in each morning to receive a printed name tag and a matching pickup tag. A parent or guardian is required to accompany their child into the building and complete check-in each day. The parent/guardian will receive a printed pickup tag, which must be presented when retrieving their child at the end of the day.
Do parents need to stay?
Parents do not need to stay during VBS, but all children must be checked in and picked up by an approved adult. Parents are always welcome to stay until their child feels comfortable.
Will snacks be served?
Yes, children will receive a snack each day. Please include allergy information when registering so our team can plan carefully.
What should my child bring?
Your child does not need to bring anything special. We recommend comfortable clothes and shoes for games and activities. They can also bring a Bible if they would like, but the less they bring with them is usually better.
Except for friends! Bring as many friends as you’d like!
Is there anything available for moms or ladies during VBS?
Yes! While children enjoy VBS, ladies are invited to attend a Bible study in the morning. This is a great opportunity to grow in God’s Word, connect with other ladies, and be encouraged while your children are participating in VBS. Sign up under the same registration as your children!
What is Family Kickoff Night?
Family Kickoff Night is a special evening for the whole family to come and get excited for VBS! Families can meet our team, learn more about the week, enjoy fun activities together, and get familiar with where everything will take place before VBS begins.
It is designed to help children feel comfortable, give parents helpful information, and start the week with excitement. Kickoff Night is Sunday, June 14 at 5pm.
